Poor shooting costs Cyclones at Oklahoma 86-69

NORMAN, Okla. (KWWL) -

Poor shooting by Iowa State and a record day for Oklahoma at the free throw line would prove to be too much as the Cyclones fell 86-69.

Romero Osby led the way for the Sooners with 22 points, 10 of which came at the free throw line.  That was the theme for Oklahoma as they tied an NCAA record shooting 34-34 from the charity stripe. the most in an NCAA game without a miss.

Tyrus McGee scored 22 for Iowa State in the loss.  McGee hit 6 of 9 three point attempts.  The rest of the Cyclones hit just 5 of 22.
