WATERLOO (KWWL) -
The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Storm Warning for parts of eastern Iowa.
Low pressure tracking in from the north will produce 2-4" of snow today with another 3-6" tracking through tonight and tomorrow.
The heaviest snow will fall Monday night and Tuesday morning, but winds will be brisk and gusty today and tomorrow blowing all of it around.
Visibilities will be lowest as the snow is falling, but travel may be difficult especially Monday night and Tuesday morning.
As much as 1 foot of snow is possible in the warning area, which covers all of the KWWL viewing area. Snow is expected to continue through Tuesday.
