Waterloo East announces new football coach

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo East has announced its next football coach to replace Kody Asmus.

Kevin Meyer will take the helm, and is currently head coach of football and track at Gallatin High School in Gallatin, Missouri.

Meyer also was employed as head football coach in Fremont, Nebraska from 1994 to 2010.

Meyer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in physical education/coaching from Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska, and a Missouri teaching certificate for physical education/health-K-12.
