Dunkerton rallies from 12 down to top North Linn

MANCHESTER (KWWL) -

Dunkerton rallied from an early 12 point deficit to knock off North Linn 35-33 and advance to the class 1A substate finals.  Dillon Anderson led the Raiders with a 15 point performance.

Dunkerton struggled early in the contest as North Linn stormed out of the gate to a 16-4 lead.  Some hot shooting from behind the arc from Trevor Jacobson and Anderson allowed the Raiders to pull within 5 at the half.

Jacobson's 3 pointer with under 2 minutes remaining gave the Raiders their first lead of the game 34-33.  North Linn's Kyler Burkey had an open 3 at the buzzer, but the ball bounced off the iron as Dunkerton would hold on.

The Raiders advance to meet Lone Tree in Saturday's substate final.
