Three Iowa high school students -- two of them from Iowa City -- were selected for admission to the U.S. Naval Academy.
U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced Wednesday that Matthew Lee of City High School and Jackson Peplow of West High School, both in Iowa City, were selected by the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., for the 2013-2014 school year.
Orion Boylston of Ames High School in Ames was also selected, Grassley's office said.
All three students were among those nominated by Grassley for appointments to the U.S. service academies.
