Waverly-Shell Rock Girls beat Charles City to make State for first time since 1986

The Waverly-Shell Rock girls basketball team earns its first trip to state in 27 years with a 42-28 victory over Charles City in a 4A Regional final in Clarksville. 

The Go-Hawks who improve to 21-2 on the season get their third win over the Comets this year. Wavelry-Shell Rock will play Winterset in a first round game on Tuesday night at 8:30 in Des Moines.
