Four arrested after series of Cedar Falls burglaries

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Two adults and two minors were taken into custody Monday after a series of residential burglaries in December and January.

The burglaries were reported at 836 Latham Place, Cedar Falls, on Dec. 24; 2314 Valley High Drive, Cedar Falls, on Jan. 9, and 2008 Primrose Drive, Cedar Falls, on Jan. 14.

Items stolen included jewelry, electronics and a handgun, according to the Cedar Falls Police Department.

Ahmedin Dzopa, 18, of 2206 West Ninth St., Waterloo, was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and one count of second-degree burglary.

Nurija Huebner, 21, of 3850-110 Pine View Place, Waterloo, was arrested and charged with one count of third-degree burglary.

Zejnudin Abdic, 17, of 1955 West Sixth St., Waterloo, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of third-degree burglary.

Jimmy Huynh, 16, of 2544 Saratoga Drive, Waterloo, was taken into custody and charged with one count of second-degree burglary and one count of third-degree burglary.
