Authorities seize 20 pounds of meth in central Iowa

Authorities seized 20 pounds of methamphetamine worth more than $900,000 in central Iowa.

Marshall County authorities arrested and charged three people after searching a vehicle.

Nicholas Martinez, Rene Fernandez and Francisco Salgado-Aguirre are all facing meth-related charges. Both Fernandez and Salgado-Aguirre are being held in the Polk County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

The Des Moines Register reports additional arrests are pending as the investigation continues.
