Panthers clip Blue Jays 61-54

The Northern Iowa Panthers got a late scoring outburst from senior Jake Koch as they rallied by Creighton 61-54 Wednesday night at the McLeod Center. It's UNI's 4th straight win while the Jays lose their third straight.

Koch who only scored 1 point in the first 36 minutes of the game tallied 13 of the Panthers' last 16 points of the game. Koch went over 1000 points in his career.  UNI held the nation's second leading scorer Doug McDermott to 15 points (12 in the first half) eights points below his average. The 54 points are also the lowest for Creighton this season.
