MARION (KWWL) -
A small fire at a local high school Sunday night was unintentional, according to investigators.
The Marion Fire Department responded to a call for fire alarms sounding at Marion High School at around 7:27 p.m. Sunday.
Crews were able to locate a small fire in one classroom and extinguish it, according to reports. The fire was brought under control around 7:52 p.m.
No injuries were reported, and it was not clear how much damage was caused.
Investigators determined that the fire originated in the area of an aquarium pump and filter system in a science lab of the school, and was unintentional.
