Second half run spurs #13 Kansas State past Iowa State 79-70

Korie Lucious led Iowa State with 16 points, but it wasn't enough as the Cyclones fell to 13th ranked Kansas State 79-70.  With the win the Wildcats took sole possession of first place in the Big 12.

The two teams went back and forth through much of first half of the game.  Kansas State (19-4, 8-2 Big 12) began to pull away, however, after Iowa State (16-7, 6-4 Big 12) pulled within one at 33-32 in the second half.

Rodney McGruder scored 22 points and Angel Rodriguez added 20 for the Wildcats.  Tyrus McGee came off the bench to score 15 for the Cyclones.
