State lawmakers consider change in mammograms

DES MOINES (KWWL) -

Iowa legislators are looking at a bill related to women's health.

A State House subcommittee discussed a bill that would require mammograms to include breast tissue density information.

Studies show as breast density increases so does the risk for breast cancer.

The bill hasn't made it out of the subcommittee yet.
