IOWA CITY (KWWL) -
Northwestern's Karly Roser drove past the Iowa defense getting off a lay up before the final buzzer to sink the Hawks 67-65.
Roser's shot came shortly after Iowa's Melissa Dixon tied the game with a jumper with under 7 seconds remaining. The Wildcats, however, immediately drove the court to convert the game winning shot.
Dixon led Iowa with 28 points on 7 of 10 shooting. The rest of the team struggled from the field hitting just 13 of 51 shots.
Iowa (16-7, 5-4 Big Ten) returns to action Thursday night at Minnesota.
