UNI Women beat Southern Illinois 76-59 behind Kalin's 20

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -
UNI freshman Hannah Schonhardt scored a career-high 15 points in helping UNI even its Missouri Valley Conference mark at 4-4. Schonhardt also added nine rebounds.
 
UNI senior guard Jacqui Kalin scored 20 points and made a team-high three 3-pointers. It was Kalin's 10th 20-plus scoring game this season.
 
UNI led 35-27 at the half on the strength of a pair of runs (13-2 and 9-0).
 
UNI increased the lead to 19 points midway through the second half at 57-38 after a pair of free throws from Schonhardt.
 
UNI (9-11 overall) will play host to Evansville on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the McLeod Center.
