Waterloo woman accused of pimping allegedly flees halfway house

A Waterloo woman, convicted of pimping a teenage relative in Johnson County,has been arrested, after police say she escaped a halfway house.

Jail records say 22-year old Melody McCullumwas arrested for failing to update her information on the sex offender register and a probation violation.

Last fall, McCullum pleaded guilty to pimping and pandering a minor in Johnson County.
