WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A Waterloo couple was arrested on Sunday after their two-year-old son was found wandering in the cold in only his diaper.

Police were called to 2833 Redwood Lane after the boy was found wandering around alone.

Officers waited at the house until 20-year-old Randeigh Nichole Bohlen and her boyfriend, 29-year-old Ryan Morris Evans, returned.

Police say the couple was gone for about 30 minutes.  Another child was also left at the home while they were gone.

Bohlen and Evans are charged with child endangerment.
