WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A Waterloo man was arrested early Wednesday morning after a double stabbing Monday.

Scott Edward Schrage, 28, of 1148 Lincoln St., was arrested at 2:55 a.m. Wednesday and charged with willful serious injury, according to the Waterloo Police Department.

Schrage was taken to the Black Hawk County Jail and held on a $50,000 bond.

Officers were called to 133 Lobdell Road at about 10:50 p.m. Monday for a report of stabbing and shooting.

When they arrived, officers say they found 25-year-old Harold W.P. Adams and 50-year-old Kenneth R. Horton with injuries.

According to Captain Tim Pillack, witnesses told police that Schrage used a utility knife to cut Adams and Horton.

Police say Schrage then slashed all four tires on a van that was parked outside and fired a shot from a handgun before leaving the scene.

Adams and Horton were both taken to Covenant Medical Center by private vehicle. Their injuries were considered non-life threatening.
