Jennifer Yue Dougherty
MARION (KWWL) -
The owner of a Marion massage parlor that had its license revoked back
in December for prostitution was arrested on Thursday after police found
she was still running the business.
The Marion City Council revoked the Public Amusement license issued to Jennifer Yue Dougherty, 47, on Dec. 20 following an Oct. 19 arrest for prostitution.
Dougherty operated Asian Massage at 271 7th Avenue, Marion.
After the license was revoked, police received tips that business was still being conducted at Asian Massage.
On Thursday, a plainclothes Marion police officer went to the business and asked for a massage. Chief Harry Daugherty says Dougherty agreed to give the officer a massage in exchange for $40.
Dougherty was arrested and charged with operating a public amusement without a license.
