CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Cedar Falls native Taylor Morris will be one of  eight "citizen co-chairs" to attend the Presidential Inauguration Monday. According to Morris' website, Morris and his girlfriend Danielle are excited for the opportunity to be apart of this historic event.

U.S. Navy EOD Tech Morris lost portions of his limb while serving in Afghanistan. Since then, Morris has been recovering at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

Morris and the seven other co-chairs were chosen to represent parts of the Presidents past four years. They will participate in the Inaugural Parade and attend the Inaugural Ball.

Another Iowan, Rob Hach of Alta, will also be a citizen co chair. He is recognized for starting a renewable energy business 10 years ago.
