Olympic Taekwondo coach visits Waterloo

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

United States Olympic Taekwondo coach Juan Moreno makes one of his periodic stops in the Cedar Valley this weekend.

Moreno is in Waterloo to train members of the Peak Performance Taekwondo team at the Roc Fit gym.

Moreno competed in three Olympic games, capturing two silver medals, in 1988 and 1992.

And in 2012 Moreno coached two of his athletes to bronze medals in London.

Moreno says he has a passion for coaching athletes at all levels.
