More Iowa troops heading to Afghanistan

OTTUMWA (KWWL) -

100 troops with an Ottumwa-based unit of the Iowa National Guard will be heading to Afghanistan before the end of the month.

The 833rd Engineer Company will be leaving Ottumwa on Monday, January 28.

They will go to Texas for training before a one-year tour in Afghanistan.
