UI climbing wall to re-open after fall

The climbing wall at the University of Iowa campus Recreation and Wellness Center will re-open next week.

It's been closed since Iowa senior Spencer Bean fell about 30 feet on November 8th.  Bean was nearly paralyzed, but is now walking.

An investigation by the university found no indications the wall or its components contributed to the accident, and a cause of the accident wasn't identified.

The wall re-opens with the beginning of the spring semester Tuesday.
