Six days after announcing he was leaving Iowa State, quarterback Jared Barnett has found a new school.
Barnett is transferring to Illinois State an FCS program in the Missouri Valley Conference which plays UNI.

By going to an FCS program-- Barnett will be eligible to play next fall.
Barnett led the Cyclones to one of the biggest wins in school history--an upset of second ranked Oklahoma State in 2011.
Barnett will be the frontrunner at Illinois State which graduated it's starting quarterback Matt Brown.
