STERLINGTON, La. (KWWL) -

A man wanted in a kidnapping investigation in Fayette County has been arrested in Louisiana.

Eastern Iowa authorities were looking for Curtis Williams, after the November 2012 kidnapping. The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says Williams was the ringleader of a group that abducted a 29-year-old man, took him out of town, beat him, and left him naked.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office worked with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office and the Sterlington Police Department in Louisiana to find and arrest Williams.  He's being held at the Ouchita Parish Sheriff's Office, pending extradition to Iowa.

Four other men already face charges stemming from the alleged kidnapping.  18-year-old Tyler Williams, 19-year-old Tory Gibson, 19-year-old William Newton and 22-year-old Cody Caldwell face kidnapping charges.  All are from West Union.

Authorities had said they would charge Curtis Williams with kidnapping and burglary once he was taken into custody.

All of the men involved could face life in prison if convicted.
