UPDATE: Officials say Interstate 80, which was closed in both directions at mile marker 216, is now reopened in both directions.

PREVIOUS STORY:

The Iowa State Patrol confirms Interstate 80 is closed in both directions at mile marker 216 near Williamsburg due to a downed power line.

The Iowa State Patrol does not know how long it will be closed, but a power company is currently working on cleaning up the mess.
