UNI's Kalin, MVC Player of the Week

Redshirt senior guard Jacqui Kalin was honored by the Missouri Valley Conference Monday by being named the MVC Player of the Week for her performances against Missouri State and Wichita State.

Kalin led the team in scoring in both games last week, finishing with 25 points against Missouri State and 22 points against Wichita State. Kalin notched a career high three-pointers made in the game against the Bears with six.

Along with her 22 points against Wichita State, Kalin finished with seven rebounds and a season high four steals. Kalin is averaging 18.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game this season.

This is Kalin's third Player of the Week honor this season from the MVC. She was also named College Sports Madness MVC Player of the Week for her performance against Saint Louis.
