SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (KWWL) -

The Wartburg wrestling team defeated Elmhurst 24-10, wrapping up a 4-0 weekend, while capturing their third straight title at the Division III National Duals.

The Knights won 7 out of 10 matches, while a pair of wrestlers picked up bonus points.  Second ranked Kodie Silvestri won by tech fall at 149, while #4 Cole Welter picked up a major decision at 157.

Wartburg's title was the 7th in program history.

    Tony Moeaki's injury troubles returned again this weekend. The former Hawkeye injured a hamstring during a workout at Buffalo Bills camp on Friday afternoon. Coaches expect him to return to action before training camp concludes.Moeaki's NFL career has been riddled with injuries. As a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, he missed the entire 2011 season after suffering an ACL tear. The Chiefs waived him after he fractured a shoulder during the 2013 season.More >>
