Shooting injures one in Cedar Rapids

Police in Cedar Rapids are investigating a shooting that happened just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday when officers heard gun fire in the Czech Village area.

A short time later a shooting victim was located in the parking lot of C. J.'s Bar, 60th block of 17th Avenue SW.

The male victim was transported to a local hospital with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.

Cedar Rapids police are looking for two suspects. Both are black males, one was wearing a dark coat and the other was wearing a white coat. They were last seen running away from the scene.
