Home invasion reported in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids Police are looking for several people who barged into an apartment, showed a gun and stole several electronic items.  It happened around 9 a.m. Sunday at an apartment in the 300 block of 66th Ave. SW.  Police say the victims said several people kicked in the door to their apartment.  They say at least one of the person showed a handgun, while another person assaulted one of the people inside.  They say at one point, the gun went off but no-one was hurt as a result.  Police say no arrests have been made.
