CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Cedar Rapids Police Department and Linn County Sheriff's Office are looking for a man who didn't return from work release.

The Iowa Department of Corrections reports 27-year-old Christopher Lee Wright was placed on escape status after failing to return to the facility from employment.

Wright was transferred to work release back in October. He's serving a 10-year prison sentence for second degree robbery in Johnson County.

Wright is described as a black man, 5'10", 205 pounds with tattoos on his upper left arm, upper right arm and left shoulder. He also has identifying scars on his left arm and neck.

Information as to Wrights whereabouts should be reported to the Cedar Rapids Police Department or Linn County Sheriff's Department.
