The Iowa wrestling team passed their biggest test of the season defeating 4th ranked Ohio State 22-9 in Carver Hawkeye Arena. The #5 Hawks took 7 of the 10 matches from the Buckeyes.
Iowa's biggest win to swing the match came with an upset at 174. Seventh ranked Mike Evans got a late stalling point to force overtime against #2 Nick Heflin. Early in the extra period Evans took Heflin down on his back, picking up back points, while finishing with a 9-4 win.
