KWWL, the legacy NBC affiliate serving the 88th-largest market, needs an experienced Multimedia Journalist to join our award-winning team.
This opening is in our Dubuque, Iowa, newsroom, overlooking the Mississippi River with opportunities to go live every night. You'll work with brand-new state-of-the-art HD cameras and editing equipment, producing compelling stories for our TV and web audiences. You'll also use our new cellular live backpack, which allows you to broadcast live from anywhere.
You must be able to work independently, finding, writing, shooting and editing your own stories. Strong ad-lib skills required, along with a knack for writing stories that stand out from the competition.
Two years' experience as a TV reporter preferred.
