WATERLOO (KWWL) -
Just minutes into the new year, one of the first babies of 2013 entered the world at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.
Jaycob Ryan Weber, Junior was born at 12:45 Tuesday morning. He weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 19 inches long. Mom Raven and dad Jaycob were a bit surprised to have a New Year's baby, after a 20-hour long New Year's Eve labor!
"I was scheduled to be induced on the 31st, and I didn't know I would labor that long. I thought he was going to be born before midnight, but guess I was wrong!" said mom Raven Vicchio.
Vicchio says it still hasn't quite set in that she's now a mommy, but she's thrilled to finally be holding her baby boy.
