Panthers fall 66-41 in MVC opener

Northern Iowa struggled in its Missouri Valley Opener falling 66-41 to Wichita State at Koch Arena.

The Panthers shot just 17 percent from behind the arc and fell behind early in the first half after the Shockers rattled off a 16-4 run.

Malcolm Armstead led the way for the Shockers with 14 points.

Jake Koch had 7 for UNI.
