One vehicle crash injures driver in Black Hawk County

One person was hurt after a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 380 in Black Hawk County. Sheriff's deputies say around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, 52-year-old John Adkins of Highland, Illinois lost control of his Jeep after hitting an icy spot on the highway near the interchange with Highway 20. Adkins vehicle went into the median then rolled several times before landing in the southbound lanes of I-380. He was taken to a Waterloo hospital for treatment of his injuries. He's expected to survive.
