Salvation Army receives 12th gold coin in 12 days

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The Salvation Army of Waterloo/Cedar Falls says someone dropped another gold coin into one of its red kettles. That makes it the 12th gold coin put in a kettle in the last 12 days. This coin was dropped into the kettle outside the Cedar Falls Wal-Mart SuperCenter Saturday night. Each coin is expected to be worth about $1700.
