Elected officials in Black Hawk County took the oath of office Tuesday morning.
Board of Supervisors Linda Laylin, Tom Little, John Miller, County Auditor Grant Veeder, and Black Hawk County Sheriff Tony Thompson were all sworn in.
Thompson he says he is ready for the next four years. "It's nice to be re-affirmed and continue the efforts and have the voters of Black Hawk County just exactly what we said on election night to get that validation of your efforts. Today just makes it official here we go another four years, nose to the grindstone kind of thing."
Iowa Supreme Court Justice Bruce Zager swore them in.
