Authorities say they discovered man with more than half pound of pot

BUCHANAN COUNTY (KWWL) -

An area man faces drug charges after authorities say they found him with more than a half pound of pot.

Buchanan County deputies tracked down 37-year-old Cory Kintzel of Vinton after finding his car on fire Monday night.

During the investigation authorities found the marijuana and nearly $8,000 in cash.

Cory Lee Kintzel is charged with possession with intent to deliver, a class D felony; failure to affix a drug tax stamp, a class D felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor; and operating while intoxicated, a serious misdemeanor.
