Waterloo applies liquid treatment to roads ahead of snow

In preparation for the anticipated snowfall, the city of Waterloo sent out several snow spraying trucks Tuesday. The liquid treatment is typically applied to streets 24 to 48 hours before an expected snow event. It helps ice break up easier, helping keep the roads safer for drivers.
