Mayors compete in 3rd annual red kettle challenge

The Red Kettle Challenge is in its third year of friendly competition between Waterloo Mayor Buck Clark and Cedar Falls Mayor Jon Crews. The Mayors rang the bell in front of their respective Wal-Mart locations on Saturday for two hours trying to raise the most money. All proceeds benefit the Salvation Army.

This year Mayor Buck Clark was the victor with just under $2500. The total raised within the two hour time frame was about $3800.
