UPDATE WITH NAME: Hunters find body under Linn County bridge

LINN COUNTY (KWWL) -

The body of a Cedar Rapids man was discovered by hunters under the Squaw Creek Bridge on Saturday morning.

The body of James Willard Ralls, 47, of Cedar Rapids, was discovered around 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

The last known address for Ralls was 7100 Mt. Vernon Road, according to authorities.

Deputies say the death is being considered suspicious and the body has been taken to the state medical examiner's office in Ankeny where an autopsy will be performed.

Anyone with information pertaining to Ralls' whereabouts prior to Dec. 8 is urged to contact the Linn County Sheriff's Office at (319) 892-6100.
