WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A Cedar Falls man is dead after being run over by a train in Waterloo on Wednesday.

Eli Alexander Ostby, 37, of Cedar Falls, was identified as the victim by Waterloo Police Wednesday afternoon.

Police were called to the train tracks behind the Residential Facility at 610 East 6th Street  at 12:28 p.m.

No foul play was suspected, according to police.
