Posted:
WINNESHIEK COUNTY (KWWL) -

The Iowa DNR is looking for a person who shot at a deer in Winneshiek County from a vehicle.  The shotgun slug missed the deer but went through a picture window of an occupied home.  It happened late Sunday 5 miles northeast of Decorah.  The DNR says a 12-gauge shotgun slug was fired from a light-colored truck at deer crossing 155th Ave.  The slug hit the window of a home.  No-one was injured.  If you have information, call the Winneshiek Co. Sheriff's Office.
