IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

A drug bust by the Johnson County Drug Task Force has landed an Iowa City couple in jail.

Investigators say 25-year-old Noah Dolezal delivered 5 ounces of marijuana to an "unwitting individual" who then delivered 4 of the 5 ounces to an undercover detective for $1,360 on Aug. 9 in Iowa City.

After further investigation, investigators executed a search warrant at Dolezal's home, 20 Data Drive in Iowa City, on Wednesday morning.  They say they found scales, marijuana pipes, a bong, rolling papers, about a pound of marijuana and cocaine.

Investigators say Dolezal admitted owning the drugs.

Investigators also say that Dolezal's two children were in the home at the time the search warrant was executed and the drugs were kept in an area accessible by the kids.

Dolezal is charged with a controlled substance violation and failure to affix tax stamp for the August 9 sale.

After the search of his home, Dolezal is also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, controlled substance violation, keeping or permitting use of a controlled substance in a structure, failure to affix tax stamp and child endangerment.

Yvette Dolezal, Noah's wife, also faces charges after investigators say she admitted to multiple sales of marijuana.

She is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, controlled substance violation, keeping or permitting use of a controlled substance in a structure, failure to affix tax stamp and child endangerment.

Johnson County Sheriff Lonny Pulkrabek says the children are in the care of relatives.
