You can help Taylor Morris' recovery this holiday season by simply buying nachos.
Taco John's restaurants in Waterloo and Cedar Falls will be donating proceeds from a portion of each Nachos Navidad® purchase to the Taylor Morris Recovery Fund.
Morris, a Cedar Falls native, was injured in Afghanistan in May while serving in the Navy as an Explosives Ordinance Disposal Technician. The May 3 explosion took both of Taylor's legs, his left arm from the bicep down and his right hand.
Taylor has spent the majority of his time since the explosion at Walter Reed Medical Center recovering and going through rehabilitation with his long-time girlfriend, Danielle, at his side.
"This is a great opportunity to support Taylor Morris and his family," said Deb Dominiack with Taco John's, in a written statement. "Our service men and women have given so much to protect our country and this is a chance for the communities of Waterloo and Cedar Falls to give back."
Taco John's will donate a Portion of Nachos Navidad® sold from December 1 – 24th.
