Iowa countryside combed for Chronic Wasting Disease

This deer season workers with the Department of Natural Resources are combing the countryside collecting samples for the deadly chronic wasting disease or CWD.

This year they are focusing extra hard on Davis, Wapello, Pottawattamie, and Cerro Gordo counties following several positive tests.

They hope to learn if this disease is spreading.
