Panthers receive at-large NCAA volleyball bid

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

The UNI volleyball team is dancing once again.  The Panthers (24-9) received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament during Sunday's selection show.  The bid is the seventh straight for the team.

UNI will open up play against Kansas State (21-8) in the first round on Thursday in Lincoln, Nebraska.  The winner would likely face #4 seed Nebraska in the second round.

The Panthers finished the regular season second in the Missouri Valley Conference.  They fell against Wichita State in the semifinal of the conference tournament.
