PARKERSBURG (KWWL) -

A Parkersburg man has died after being killed by a falling tree.

A funeral notice for 49-year-old Mitchell Johnson says he died Saturday due to injuries sustained after being struck by a falling tree while cutting wood.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bethel Reformed Church in rural Aplington. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethel Reformed Church and one hour before services at the church.
