STRAWBERRY POINT (KWWL) -

One Strawberry Point man found little to be thankful for on Thursday after being accused of stabbing his nephew and assaulting two other family members on Thanksgiving.

Glen Bradford Henke, 40, of Strawberry Point, was arrested Thursday night after allegedly slicing his nephew in the forehead with a knife, pushing his mother to the ground twice and punching his sister in the face and head, according to the Clayton County Sheriff's Office.

Henke was charged with domestic abuse assault, child endangerment, going armed with intent and two counts of willful injury.

He was transported to the Clayton County Jail and held pending an appearance before a magistrate.

Henke was previously found guilty of assault with intent to inflict serious injury in 2004, and charged with domestic abuse assault earlier this year which was later amended to a charge of third-degree harassment, according to Iowa Courts Online.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Elkader Police and Strawberry Point Police Departments and Strawberry Point Ambulance.
