UNI falls short to #2 Louisville, 51-46

Posted:

The Northern Iowa Panthers fell just short of upsetting the second ranked Louisville Cardinals at the Battle 4 the Atlantis--51-46.  UNI rallied from a 40-22 second half deficit outscoring Louisville 22 to 5 to cut the Cardinal lead to 45-44 with 2:06 to play, but that as close as it would get. UNI got 11 points from Marc Sonnen and 10 points from Jake Koch as the Panthers fall to 3-1 on the season.  UNI will play Stanford on Friday.
